2.1 This instrument corrects a number of minor errors in other instruments, and makes some additional amendments to correct deficiencies in domestic legislation arising as a result of the UK鈥檚 exit from the European Union. It amends: 鈥� the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/25) (鈥渢he EIA (EU Exit) Regulations鈥�), which relates to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), in the fields of agriculture and marine works; 鈥� the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/39) (鈥渢he EPR (EU Exit) Regulations鈥�); 鈥� the Waste (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) (No. 2) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/188) (鈥淲aste (EU Exit) (No. 2) Regulations鈥�); 鈥� the Waste (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (S.I. 2019/620) (鈥渢he Waste (EU Exit) Regulations鈥�).
