°Õ³ó±ðÌýASC has a responsibility to take such steps as it sees necessary, and to advise AWERBs, on the diffusion of ‘best practice’ relating to the acquisition, breeding, accommodation, care and use of animals protected under the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986, as amended.

To help fulfil this mandate, the ASC developed an AWERB network, based around regional ‘hub’ AWERBs. °Õ³ó±ðÌý.

As a living document, it will continue to be shaped and refreshed by contributions from the hubs and member AWERBs. Previous versions of the support note are listed here for reference.
