We want to know what you think about a possible exemption from biodiversity net gain for some brownfield residential development projects.

We ask whether an exemption should be introduced and, if so, what聽size thresholds should apply.聽聽

We are聽also聽seeking聽views on how brownfield residential development should be defined.聽聽

We also welcome comments on any ecological,聽administrative聽or viability impacts, including any聽relevant聽evidence or case studies.
