If听you plan to go to university, there are just a few weeks until the start of the academic year听and to help make the transition as smooth as possible, here are some simple steps to ensure your student finance is ready听in time.听

If听you鈥檝e听applied听for student finance听and your听plans听haven鈥檛听change听听

• Great news.听We鈥檝e听got everything we need for now and听we鈥檒l听continue to keep you updated through your online account as your application progresses.听You鈥檒l听be able to track your student finance through your online account and once we have your Confirmation of Registration听from your university听you will receive updates on your payment date,听etc.听

If听you鈥檝e听already applied听for student finance and need to change听your course听or university听

• If your plans have changed,听there鈥檚听no need to contact us.听听Simply log into your online account and update your university or college, along with your course details.听It鈥檚听quick and easy to do online, and it听helps us make sure your funding is in place for the start of your studies.听

You听haven鈥檛听applied听for student finance, and听you鈥檝e听been accepted onto a course听

• Apply as soon as you can.听

• The application takes around 30 minutes to complete online.听

• A typical application takes around four weeks to process, and you can track progress through your online account.听

• If you apply late,听we鈥檒l听still do everything we can to get money to you as close to the start of your course as possible. We can make听an initial听assessment, so funding is available when you need it, with any听additional听entitlement paid later if听required.听
