Dr Ros Rivaz appointed as new Chair of Companies House
Ministers confirm that Dr Ros Rivaz will take on the role from 1 March.
Ministers have today (Thursday 26 February) confirmed that Dr Ros Rivaz has been appointed as the new Chair of Companies House. She will begin the role on 1 March,ÌýsucceedingÌýJohn Clarke who hasÌýbeen in postÌýsince March 2023.ÌýÌý
Dr Rivaz brings extensive leadership experience across the public and private sectors.ÌýSheÌýcurrentlyÌýholds board positions at several organisationsÌýincludingÌýAnglian Water Services and Group,Ìýthe chemicals companyÌýVictrexÌýplc and specialised steel company Aperam SA. She has previously held a range of other board roles including serving as Chair of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.ÌýÌý
Her career spanningÌýsenior roles in technology, digital transformation and corporate governanceÌýwill providesÌývaluableÌýexpertiseÌýthat willÌýbenefitÌýCompanies House as it continues its transformation.Ìý
Supported by CEO Andy King and the ministerial team at the Department for Business and Trade, sheÌýwill lead the Companies House Board as the organisation continues toÌýdrive forward the Government’s transparency agenda.Ìý
