Tender Opens for Peer Review Independent Expert Panel
Information for individuals interested in applying to deliver Peer Review Independent Expert Panel Services from June 2026.
We are launching a tender to appoint a panel of Independent Experts who will act as a quality assurance mechanism to ensure听the听consistency of听Peer Review Reports and ratings.听We intend to听enter into听three individual contracts.听This initiative is not about recruiting Peer Reviewers. It is focused on appointing Independent Experts to support and oversee the Peer Review Scheme.
The current contract is听coming to an end听and we are committed to the Peer Review Scheme as it plays a critical role in听maintaining听public confidence in the legal aid system.

The Ministry of Justice is using the E-Sourcing Portal, Jaggaer, for this procurement which means the ITT is available only in electronic form.
