David Bowden
Biography
David is Executive Director, Finance and Operations, and joined Ofqual in 2022.
His previous roles in the civil service include:
- Director of Accommodation, Defence Infrastructure OrganisationÂ
- Head of Customer Finance, Defence Infrastructure Organisation
Prior to joining the civil service, David’s career included roles in investment banking, professional education and social housing. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Executive Director, Finance and Operations, Ofqual
The Executive Director, Finance and Operations is responsible for:
- Ofqual’s Finance, HR, and Digital, Data and Technology teamsÂ
- overall co-ordination, planning and management of financial and non-financial resources to meet Ofqual’s regulatory objectives
