Deirdre Costigan was appointed Junior Lord of the Treasury (Government Whip) on 12 May 2026.
She was previously Assistant Whip, House of Commons between 7 September 2025 and 12 May 2026. She was elected as the MP for Ealing Southall in July 2024.
