Jonathan joined the Ministry of Justice as a Non Executive Board Member on 21 August 2023.

Jonathan has over 30 years of procurement experience, working in banking, healthcare, IT, automotive and manufacturing. Prior to his semi-retirement, Jonathan held the position of Managing Director, Head of Supplier Management at Barclays where his career spanned 21 years. Whilst at Barclays he championed gender equality and has a strong record of developing female talent into leadership roles. He brings commercial skills, leadership, and risk management expertise.
