7th Rail Accident Investigators Seminar
On 19/11/25 we held our 7th seminar in Birmingham for accident investigators working in the UK rail industry.

Details
This year, Professor Mark Young from the University of Southampton opened the seminar with a keynote speech ‘Courses for horses: why and when to use human factors methods in investigations.’ We also welcomed speakers Jyoti Palit from TfL and Greg Morse from RSSB.
Presentations from our own inspectors included:

- RAIB’s family liaison strategy
