From 12 December 2025, the Microgeneration Certification Scheme鈥檚 (MCS) new redeveloped scheme (鈥�MCS:2025鈥�) is approved as a certification scheme under the Clean Heat Market Mechanism (CHMM).

Installations carried out under the current MCS scheme will continue to be awarded CHMM credits during a transitional period until installers and certification bodies have all transitioned to MCS:2025.
