Here are some of DVLA鈥檚 key achievements for 2022-23 included in this year鈥檚 report:

• we issued 11.9 million driving licences and 16.8 million vehicle registration certificates
• we collected more than 拢7 billion in Vehicle Excise Duty (VED)
• we retained the Customer Service Excellence Standard for the 15th consecutive year
• we processed 3.2 billion automated and digital interactions
• our customer contact centre answered 6.7 million calls, and 856,000 webchat and chatbot enquiries
• we processed 93.6 million individual customer transactions, 83% of which were processed through our digital channels
