Details
MHCLG is providing 拢694.17 million to councils in England in the financial year 2025 to 2026 through the Homelessness Prevention Grant (HPG), to support them to deliver services to tackle and prevent homelessness.
In 2025/26, MHCLG awarded 拢633.2 million to HPG, with then a 拢10.9 million top-up in October and a further top-up of 拢50 million in December, bringing the total of HPG to 拢694.17 million.
This is an uplift of 拢253.8 million compared to 2024 to 2025.
