At the IPCC’s 49th Plenary Session (Kyoto, Japan 8 to 12 May 2019), the panel decided that its Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (TFI) would produce a ’Methodology Report on Short-lived Climate Forcers’ following Appendix A to the ‘Principles Governing IPCC ·É´Ç°ù°ì’.Ìý
This methodology report will provide guidance on measuring anthropogenic emissions from key short-lived climate-forcing substances, including nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and others, which significantly contribute to global and regional air quality and climate change.
°Õ³ó±ðÌýIPCC is inviting experts to register as prospective reviewers of the First Order Draft (FOD) of the methodology report.
Registration closes at 11pm on 13 February 2026.
