There are two data collection templates for newborn screening laboratories to submit newborn blood spot screening data. This is to collect data on the standards and condition specific information for the newborn blood spot screening programme.
The newborn blood spot (NBS) screening programme includes quality standards that indicate progress and shows areas for improvement.
Please download and complete these versions of the data collection templates. Once complete, return to england.screeningdata@nhs.net by 17th July 2026.
