To inform you of the addition of a new territory code (US-3) for the export of certain poultry commodities from the United States of America.ÌýÌý
µþ²¹³¦°ì²µ°ù´Ç³Ü²Ô»åÌý
A new zone has been established for the export of the following commodities:ÌýÌý
- breeding or productive poultry other than ratitesÌý
- day-old chicks other than ratitesÌý
- hatching eggs of poultry other than ratites
Defra has today (24 October 2025) published:ÌýÌý

an amended  list to include a new territory, US-3. This territory, covering US approved compartments, is approved for BPP (breeding or productive poultry other than ratites), DOC (day-old chicks other than ratites) and HEP (hatching eggs of poultry other than ratites).Ìý

a is included under column 3 of the US-3 row.ÌýÌýÌý
This means that, in the event of an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza or Newcastle disease within 10km of any approved US compartments, exports from those compartments of the abovementioned commodities may continue under the new territory designation US-3. Please note, this applies to the above commodities only.ÌýÌý
