Details
This direction has now closed. A revised direction issued on 22 July 2019 by the Department for Education (DfE) replaces it.
This revised direction acknowledges the transfer of childrenās social care services to the Birmingham childrenās trust.
It requires Birmingham City Council to co-operate with the Secretary of Stateās Childrenās Services Commissioner, and to engage with the trust and partners in a way that supports improvement.
This direction replaces the earlier statutory direction issued to the council in November 2016.
