This direction has closed and a direction issued by DfE on 12 July 2018 replaces it.

This direction requires the council to cooperate with a commissioner appointed by the Secretary of State.

It follows publication on 29 January 2018 of a that judged the overall effectiveness of Buckinghamshire鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services as inadequate.
