Details
This direction was revoked on 26 May 2023 as confirmed in the letter from Andrew Warren, DfE Regional Director for the West Midlands.
This statutory direction was placed on Birmingham City Council in July 2019 in relation to its children鈥檚 services.
It withdraws the Children鈥檚 Services Commissioner and requires Birmingham City Council to engage with Birmingham Children鈥檚 Trust, and the authority鈥檚 partners, to facilitate continued improvement.
This direction replaced the earlier statutory direction issued to the council in March 2018.
