The government has published a consultation seeking views on reforms relating to zero hours and similar contracts to implement measures in the .
The Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) gave a ‘green’ rating to each of the options assessments supporting the consultation. This means that we considered them to be ‘fit for purpose’ based on our scrutiny of the evidence and analysis supporting the case for why regulation is necessary.
Our ratings are advisory and do not reflect the merits of the policy itself.
