Details

restrict the sale of wet wood for domestic burning, limit the emission of sulphur and smoke from manufactured solid fuels and phase out the sale of traditional house coal.

The Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) gave a ‘green’ rating to  on 18 September 2025. This means that we considered the review to be fit for purpose based on our scrutiny of the evidence and analysis presented.
