Details

The Chair of the Animals in Science Committee (ASC) wrote to Lord Hanson of Flint to propose a strategic shift in the ASC’s approach to reviewing project licences that involve animals in scientific procedures. Lord Hanson wrote back to the Chair of the ASC to accept the proposal to move to a thematic model as the default approach, with the ability to retain the ability to review individual applications where novel or contentious issues arise.
