The United Kingdom and France have agreed to deepen their collaboration on transport, following discussions from the UK-France summit held between 9 July to 10 July 2025.

This declaration outlines expectations for both countries on the:

• introduction of a new regulatory framework applicable to the Channel Tunnel
• cooperative and coordinated approach to seafarer welfare internationally and to the effective implementation of their existing measures
• cooperation on transport decarbonisation, including maritime decarbonisation and zero emission vehicles
