Details

When the UK left the EU, government agreed that certain EU regulations would continue to apply in Northern Ireland – known as the Windsor Framework.

This explanatory memorandum explains why the government has agreed to add  to the Windsor Framework to apply in Northern Ireland.

The new EU regulation will harmonise the technical requirements for non-road mobile machinery used on roads in the EU.

Kier Mather MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Transport, submitted this explanatory memorandum.
