This report outlines final compliance information for the Vehicle emissions trading schemes (VETS) 2024 scheme year, as required under .ÌýÌý

creates 4 trading schemes:

  • two zero emission vehicle (ZEV) mandate schemes – one for cars and one for vans, that encourage the uptake of zero emission vehicles and regulate registrations of non-ZEV
  • two CO2 regulation schemes – one for cars and one for vans, which regulate the emissions of new non-ZEVs registered in the UK

The report includes market-level, manufacturer-level and vehicle-level information in line with the requirements set out in the VETS Order, including information on:

  • ZEV and non-ZEV registrations
  • non-ZEV CO2 emissions
  • vehicles registered within the schemes
