This measure is about increasing the Vehicle Excise Duty expensive car supplement threshold for zero-emission cars to £50,000.

Details
This measure increases the Vehicle Excise Duty expensive car supplement threshold for zero-emission cars from £40,000 to £50,000. It will apply to zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) registered from 1 April 2025 onwards.
This change will take effect from 1 April 2026.
