This statistical release provides estimates of the change in the rateable value of non-domestic properties,听as a result of听the 2026听revaluation to reflect changes in the property market since the听previous听revaluation in 2023.听

The rateable values听determined听by the Valuation Office provide the basis for national non-domestic (business) rates bills.听

This release compares changes between the 2023听rating lists and 2026听compiled听rating lists by sector and geography as well as the distribution of rateable value of properties. These statistics are released alongside the publication of the 2026听compiled听list.听

The revaluation takes effect from 1 April 2026.听
