4 August 2026 - Apply for a 2024 Standard Civil Contract in Inquests 

We are inviting Tenders for contracts to deliver work in the Inquests category of law under the 2024 Standard Civil Contract to support the implementation of the Public Office (Accountability) Bill.  

The contract will end on 30 June 2028, in line with the broader 2024 Standard Civil Contract (subject to the rights of early termination and the LAA’s right to extend by up to a further 2 months).

Application period and key dates 

The application period will remain open until on or around 31 March 2027 and individuals may tender at any point within this period.  

Tenders received by 17:00 on 4 September 2026 will be assessed with a view to contracts commencing at service launch, subject to passing verification.

The tender is open to those who can meet the requirements set out in the Application Guide and Contract documents

Applicants must submit a complete tender via the LAA’s
