Why you get each form

If you鈥檙e an employee, your employer听tells听you听about 测辞耻谤听taxable income听using听different forms.听You听get a:听

Your employer also gives听this information to HMRC.

You鈥檒l only get these forms if you鈥檙e an employee.

  1. Step 1 Get your National Insurance number

    You'll usually need your National Insurance number when you start your new job.

    Tell your current employer that you鈥檙e going to leave and when your last day will be. This is known as handing in your notice.

    To get paid, you鈥檒l need to give your new employer:
