- If the sand is still in its packaging, place it in a heavy-duty plastic bag, double tape it securely, label it clearly鈥痑nd store in a secure location鈥痮ut of the reach of children.听
- If the sand has been used,鈥痗lean up鈥痵ites where the product was used using wet cloths to avoid generating dust. Wear gloves鈥痑nd a mask.鈥疍ouble鈥痓ag the sand, gloves,听mask听and cloths.听
- Keep children and other people away from areas where the sand has been used until the area has been cleaned.听
- Return the product to store where specified by the retailer for a full refund.
- If you are unable to return the product to the retailer, follow the steps above and contact your local authority / access their website for guidance on safe disposal of asbestos in your area.
