Mr Keith McMahon MBE has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Kingdom of Tonga in succession to Mr Philip Malone LVO, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
The British High Commission in Nuku’alofa maintains and develops relations between the UK and Tonga.  
Phase two of the transfer to the UK, of overseas birth and death registrations of British Citizens will begin on 8 September.
