Getting help in Portugal and Cape Verde

If you鈥檙e abroad and your passport has been lost, stolen or damaged, you can apply for a听replacement passport.听听

If you need to travel urgently before your replacement passport is issued, you can apply for an听emergency travel document.听

Emergency assistance

Contact your travel provider and insurer if you鈥檙e involved in a serious incident or emergency abroad.听 They鈥檒l tell you if they can help and what you need to do to make a claim.
