Publication scheme

This publication scheme specifies the categories of information that the Fair Work Agency regularly publishes and explains how to get that information.

The encourages public authorities to make information available to the public wherever possible. The听Fair Work Agency (FWA)听does this by publishing the data that people need to understand,听who we are, what we spend and what we achieve.听

Under the act, we听are required to听adopt a publication scheme that听contains听information we make听available and听ensure that all published information is听in accordance with听the scheme.

Available information is grouped under the following 鈥榗lasses of information鈥�.听

This will develop as FWA publishes more information.听听

Who we are and what we do听听

This information听covers our organisational听details, structure,听locations听and contacts. This includes information about us.

What we spend and how we spend it听

This is where we publish financial information about projected and actual income, expenditure, procurement,听contracts听and financial audits. This includes:听

  • our annual report听

  • expenditure over 拢25,000听

  • what our priorities are and how we are doing听

This category covers departmental strategies and plans, performance indicators, audits,听inspections听and reviews, including:听

  • business plan听

  • annual report and accounts听听

How we make decisions听听

This is where we publish details of our decision-making processes and records of our decisions,听as well as consultations. These include:听听

Our policies and procedures听听

This information covers our protocols,听policies听and procedures for providing services, and responsibilities, including:听听

Lists and registers听

This is where we publish details of the department鈥檚 public registers, asset听registers听and disclosure logs.

The services we offer听

Advice and guidance, booklets and leaflets, transactions and media releases,听research听and analysis.
